Cornwall Business Awards 2016 finalist for housing survey project

6th April, 2016

We’re delighted to be a finalist for the Cornwall Business Awards 2016 ‘Most Creative Use of Design’.  We’ve been shortlisted for a project that we carried out for Cornwall Housing in 2015/16 to conduct a Tenant Profiling Census across nearly 10,000 Cornwall Council owned properties in Cornwall.

The Census involved collecting sensitive personal information for each member of the 10,000 households, and their individual communication needs and preferences.  Their readiness and preparedness to adopt online services and the impact of the new Universal Credit benefit were also assessed.  The target audience included an above average proportion of people from disadvantaged socio-economic groups and with disabilities or other health conditions. (See the full case study here.)

Key Performance Indicators included a minimum 75% response rate and 100% accuracy in processing of returns, so an innovative and creative approach to the design of the project was paramount to achieve these goals.  The final result was a 79% response with 100% accuracy and 0% complaints.

The winner will be announced at the Cornwall Business Awards gala dinner on 12th May.
