ECLAG_invitationDo you run an enterprise in East Cornwall? (That’s the area many will recognise as the former North Cornwall or Caradon districts.)

We were pleased to run the survey of microbusinesses on behalf of the East Cornwall Local Action Group this summer.

The findings will be presented at two events early next month – do come along if you can.

Focus on Microbusinesses in East Cornwall’ 2013 seminar

Over the summer of 2013, the East Cornwall Local Action Group, part of the Rural Development for England Programme (RDPE), undertook research into the needs, wants and aspirations of microbusinesses (businesses employing less than 10 people) in East Cornwall. The research was undertaken by PFA Research and took the form of a questionnaire supported by an online survey.

Microbusinesses from St Eval to Kilkhampton, from Millbrook to Polruan were asked their views. Now a large volume of evidence has been collected from nearly 300 local businesses, and an evidence base produced to inform future developments in the area.

The headline results will be revealed at two seminars, ‘Focus on Microbusiness in East Cornwall 2013’ with speakers from the East Cornwall Local Action Group, PFA Research and local businesses. These seminars are being held on:

Tuesday 5 November
Trethorne Leisure Park, Launceston from 9 – 10 30 am

Thursday 7 November
Eliot House Hotel, Liskeard from 6 – 7 30 pm
