By applying to join the What Cornwall Thinks Panel you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

  1. General

    • The What Cornwall Thinks Panel is devised and run by PFA Research Ltd (a company registered in England, no. 2638871), hereafter referred to as PFA Research.
    • These terms and conditions, together with the What Cornwall Thinks Privacy Policy, shall be the entire agreement between you and PFA Research.
    • PFA Research shall not be liable to you or any other party should PFA Research exercise its right to modify or discontinue the What Cornwall Thinks Panel and any related services.
    • The views and opinions representing the What Cornwall Thinks Panel (either on the pfa-research.com website, or social networks) and What Cornwall Thinks questionnaires are not necessarily those of PFA Research.
    • PFA Research shall not be liable for any losses, costs or expenses brought about by membership of What Cornwall Thinks Panel (including direct, consequential or incidental losses or damages).
    • Any communications or notices to be given under these terms and conditions shall be by email.
    • PFA Research reserves the right at any time and from time to time, to modify or amend these Terms or any part thereof. Whenever possible, PFA Research will notify panel members of any amendments to these Terms and Conditions in advance. Your continued use of the What Cornwall Thinks websites or continued participation in the What Cornwall Thinks Panel constitute an affirmative acknowledgement of any modification and your continued agreement to be bound by the modified Terms.
    • These terms shall be governed by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  1. What Cornwall Thinks Panel Membership

    • PFA Research has the right to refuse membership or remove members from the What Cornwall Thinks Panel at any time.
    • If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, or misleading, or PFA Research has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, or misleading, PFA Research has the right to suspend or terminate your membership.
    • In order to be a member of the What Cornwall Thinks Panel you must be responsible for the confidentiality of emails sent to your email addresses and for any passwords you supply or accept from PFA Research. PFA Research will not be liable for unauthorised use of your email address or password.
  1. Ceasing membership

    • Either you or PFA Research may terminate your membership of the What Cornwall Thinks Panel at any time. You may terminate by emailing us at participate@pfa-research.com from your registered email address with the phrase “unsubscribe wct” in the subject line of the email.
    • Your membership will terminate automatically when you cease to meet What Cornwall Thinks Panel requirements (of being aged 16 or over).
    • If your membership of the What Cornwall Thinks Panel is terminated by reason of your breach of these terms or if you continue as a member of What Cornwall Thinks after you have ceased to meet What Cornwall Thinks Panel requirements, any benefits accrued (for example discount vouchers, rights to enter competitions, etc.) will be removed and your entitlement to those benefits will cease.
  1. Personal Privacy and Data Protection

    • By applying for membership of the What Cornwall Thinks Panel you consent to PFA Research holding, storing, processing and using the information you submit for market research purposes. This information will not be disclosed to third parties without your expressed consent.
    • The What Cornwall Thinks Privacy Policy on this website forms part of these terms and conditions.
    • You hereby expressly consent to PFA Research’s use of your sensitive personal data for statistical purposes only.
    • You have the right to ask for a copy of the information which we hold on you and which is subject to the Data Protection Act 1998 (for which we may make a small charge) and to correct any inaccuracies in your information. See the What Cornwall Thinks Privacy Policy for more information.
