eCommerce Attitudes
PFA Research has recently completed a survey of eCommerce attitudes, trends and usage amongst UK SMEs commissioned by Actinic Software.

White Collar Workers
This "snapshot" survey targeted small companies (between 10 and 49 employees) in the UK business services sector where there was deemed to be a higher than normal proportion of office-based employment.

Case study 1

By creating a web presence for a client you are, by definition, aiding greater geographical scope to their marketing services. When PFA research were approached by a vendor wanting to promote and sell products via the internet we took our design and build skills and created a fully integrated eCommerce solution with secure order and payment facilities aimed at the UK audience. Using eCommerce 'engine' software, we integrated a personal yet professional design with an easy to use system as specified by the client. By continual consultation with the client and the client's representatives a package was provided that was sustainable and maintainable for future use without the added cost of maintenance contracts or additional design skills.

Case study 2

Our public sector client identified the need to create an online awareness of their training provision for small and medium enterprises. By creating a successful online presence the client increased their potential for continued and new enrolments. The client had recognised that the Internet provided a cost effective for the purpose of marketing to its existing and potential customers. The website had to reflect coverage, capabilities and successes. PFA Research had to consider the clients requirements in building a database driven site holding archive information as well as providing an update facility for the clients continual updating of the content. The project commenced on a 'blank sheet' and through consultation PFA Research provided a 'branded identity' which was taken forward for printed literature also.
